Every year, TiEcon Udaipur becomes the stage where India’s most ambitious entrepreneurs present what they are building, why it matters and where the country is headed next. TiEcon Udaipur 2026, held on March 20th at the Marriott Hotel, brought together 600+ founders, investors, and industry leaders under the theme Celebrating Entrepreneurship: Bharat Next Leap. This year, artificial intelligence was the buzzword, specifically, whether or not someone is actually using AI or just talking about it. AI promises were brought to an end by the Execution Track in one way or another, and investors and institutions are not fooled by them anymore. They want proof. Edysor is that proof- with AI voice agents transforming university admissions already live across Indian universities, delivering real outcomes that most AI platforms are still only promising in pitch decks.
There were two tracks at this year’s TiEcon. The Big Picture Track examined the national scope of the influence of AI and emerging technologies at a national level. However, the most useful discussions occurred on the Execution Track, which was all about the practical product development, real scaling issues, and what it actually takes to implement AI in a working environment.
The message from the Execution Track was clear: ideas are easy, execution is everything. It is no longer impressive to investors when AI pitches are read off a deck and sound good. They desire to view things that work, numbers that are actual, and processes that have truly transformed due to AI. It is that very standard which Edysor is constructed to fulfill.
There is a lot of noise around AI in higher education right now. Every platform claims to use AI. But very few have actually integrated it into day to day operational workflow of a university admissions department in a manner that generates quantifiable results.
Here is what real execution looks like at Edysor:
It is not that universities do not desire to adopt AI. Most of them do. The difficulty lies in the fact that they are not aware of where to begin, and the tools provided to them can be too generic or too sophisticated to be put into practice without a huge technical staff.
Generic AI tools were not built for university admissions. They are not aware of particular questions that Indian students ask. They are not natural extensions of the CRMs admissions teams that are in place. And they definitely do not deal with the nuance of a student who switches between Hindi and English in the middle of the conversation.
This is exactly why conversational AI for admissions workflow needs to be purpose-built -- designed specifically around the way universities operate, the way students communicate, and the outcomes admissions teams are actually measured on.
The other massive myth concerning AI in admissions is that it assists at the top of the funnel - in responding to the first question and no further. Edysor is involved throughout the student experience.
TiEcon Udaipur 2026 also featured some of the most brilliant entrepreneurial minds in India in order to salute the next leap of Bharat. And the most obvious thing to learn in the Execution Track was that the AI era does not favor the loudest voice, instead it favors the steadiest voice. That has been delivered by Edysor quietly within the university admissions teams throughout India. No hyperbole, no empty promises, no hyperloop AI agents, executing real processes, generating real outcomes in institutions that believed in taking action rather than waiting. If your university is still debating whether AI is ready for admissions, the answer is already here. Book a free demo with Edysor and see execution in action.
