Data Deletion Request

This page explains how individuals and business clients can request deletion of personal information processed through Edysor AI and Edysor CRM, including information received through Meta Lead Ads, Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts and the WhatsApp Business Platform.

How to Request Data Deletion

You may submit a deletion request by email.

Subject
Data Deletion Request – Your Name

Please provide:

  • Your full name
  • The email address or phone number used with the relevant service
  • The name of the business or Edysor client you interacted with
  • The Facebook Page, lead form or WhatsApp number involved, if known
  • A short description of the information you want deleted
Do not send:Your Facebook password, Meta access token, one-time password, CRM password or identity document — unless Edysor specifically requests a limited verification step through a secure channel.

Edysor may request limited additional information to confirm your identity and prevent unauthorized deletion.

For Edysor CRM Clients

An authorized CRM administrator can disconnect Meta from the Edysor integration settings, where this control is available.

CRM Settings > Integrations > Meta > Disconnect

Disconnecting Meta deletes the stored access token and stops future synchronization. Disconnecting does not automatically delete leads, messages, recordings or other information already imported into Edysor CRM.

To request deletion of previously synchronized information, email privacy@edysor.ai or use the deletion option available inside Edysor CRM.

For Leads, Students and Other Individuals

If your information was submitted to a business using Edysor CRM, you may contact that business directly or submit your request to Edysor.

The relevant business normally acts as the data controller for its leads and customer communications. Edysor processes the information on the business's behalf. Edysor will work with the relevant business to locate and delete eligible information where applicable.

You may also remove Edysor through your Facebook account by following these steps:

  1. 1Open Facebook Settings and Privacy.
  2. 2Open Settings.
  3. 3Select Apps and Websites.
  4. 4Select Edysor and choose Remove.
  5. 5Where available, select the option to send a data-deletion request.

Information Covered by a Deletion Request

Depending on how Edysor was used, a valid request may cover:

  • Contact information and Meta lead-form answers
  • Meta user, Business Manager, Page, Instagram and ad-account identifiers
  • Meta connection, permission and connected-asset records
  • Stored Meta access tokens
  • WhatsApp messages, attachments and communication history stored in Edysor

What Happens After a Request

  1. 1Edysor acknowledges the request within five business days.
  2. 2Edysor verifies the requester and identifies the relevant account, client or tenant.
  3. 3Processing of the affected information is restricted where appropriate.
  4. 4Eligible information is deleted or anonymized from active systems.
  5. 5Relevant service providers are instructed to delete eligible information where applicable.
  6. 6Edysor provides confirmation when the request is completed.

Edysor aims to complete valid requests within 30 days where applicable. A request may take longer when additional verification, client instructions or a lawful retention requirement applies. Edysor will communicate material delays where appropriate.

Information That May Be Retained

Edysor may retain limited information where it is reasonably required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, billing, dispute resolution or the establishment and defence of legal claims.

Information in encrypted backups may remain until the backup expires under Edysor's documented backup-retention schedule. Deleted information will not be intentionally restored to active use. Where necessary, deletion markers will be reapplied after a backup restoration.

Edysor may keep a minimal record showing that a deletion request was received and completed. This record will not contain the message, recording, transcript, lead-form answer or other personal content that was deleted.

Disconnecting Meta and Deleting Data

Disconnecting Meta and deleting imported information are different actions.

  • Disconnecting Meta deletes the stored access token and stops future synchronization.
  • Deleting data removes eligible information already stored in Edysor systems.
  • Closing a client account follows the applicable contract, retention schedule and legal obligations.

Your Other Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may also request access to, correction of, restriction of or a portable copy of your personal information, or object to certain processing.

For additional information, read the Edysor Privacy Policy.
